  1. When I read Salt Magic, Skin Magic last year, it ended up on my personal “honorable mention” list. I liked it so very much. I just finished listening to the audio version and this is my short review:

I thought it was a glorious book when I read it last year; I placed it on my “honorable mention” list for 2018. But when the incredibly talented voice actor Joel Leslie performs this marvelous story… it becomes sublime. The prose all the more stunning, the story line even more brilliant, deftly drawn characters explode into life, and the atmosphere becomes something in which a listener could drown. Highly recommended. More, please!

I see that you’re struggling with writer’s block… about which I know nothing. Just know that if and when you write again, we’ll be there for you.

    With love,
    Kathleen

    1. Thank you! And wow, that’s a GREAT review. I’m so happy you enjoyed it so much. The writer’s block has been really awful, but I have done some writing over the last couple of weeks, so maybe it’s on the way out? I’m doing everything I can think of to help myself, so fingers crossed I’ll have another book to share with people one day.
